I had the privelage of photographing this wonderful couple again, this time they're expecting! I can't wait to meet their beautiful baby boy. I have never met two more pleasant people to be around, and they are going to make wonderful parents.

meeting samantha
I photographed Nick and Rebecca Grobe's wedding last year, so I was honored when they asked me to take the first pictures of their new baby girl, Samantha. I couldn't wait to meet her, and I expected her to be like most newborns- sleepy. However, little Samantha was wide-eyed throughout most of the shoot. Her beautiful blue eyes sparkled, and she already had her own personality. Nick is being deployed to Afghanistan next month, so we also wanted him to have some photos to take with him. I am so appreciative of what he does for our country, and I'm glad I could be a part of helping him have a little piece of home with him. It was such a pleasure to work with them again!

ella wade
Ella in one word- gorgeous. Those huge blue eyes are so beautiful to photograph, and in these photos you can really see her explorative personality...

brittany & caleb
These two completely exemplify love! I found myself mesmerized by them while photographing their engagement and wedding. The pure love that they have for each other is completely evident in their photographs...
...and wedding day...
One of my favorite moments was when then the flower girl tripped, spilling her goldfish from her basket. She made a quick recovery :)
Congratulations and best of luck! I look forward to photographing your beautiful family in the future.

my wooden box
One of my fondest memories, growing up, is the little wooden box that my Granny kept in her living room, full of old black and white pictures. There wasn't a single time I didn't run through the front door to sift through those old, yellowed memories like I had never seen them before. I would pick each one up, hold it to my nose (I can still smell the faded emulsion), and make up a story in my mind for each one. I would ask my Granny to sit with me and recite the old stories over and over; it always seemed so romantic and adventurous. I believe my passion for photography stemmed out of those stories, and my job is to capture your happily ever after in a beautiful light so that you can sit back and enjoy your special moments. Maybe one day a new generation will sit in the living room floor asking questions about each picture in your little wooden box.
